RIANA - Research Infrastructure Access in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology
RIANA is a European infrastructure funded under Horizon Europe, which aims to provide coordinated access to the most advanced research infrastructures in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. The project is coordinated by the DEUTSCHES ELEKTRONEN-SYNCHROTRON (DESY) in Hamburg and runs from 1 March 2024 to 29 February 2028. RIANA was established to overcome the fragmentation of European infrastructure dedicated to nanoscience, offering a single point of access to advanced laboratories and services across Europe. The aim is to accelerate research and innovation in sectors crucial to sustainability, energy, electronics, biomedicine and quantum technologies.
