NFFA-DI – Nano Foundries and Fine Analysis Digital Infrastructure
NFFA-DI is the national research infrastructure funded by the PNRR, representing the Italian evolution of NFFA-Europe and NFFA-Europe Pilot, with the aim of establishing a Full-Spectrum Research Infrastructure for nanosciences and nanotechnologies, integrating experimental laboratories, digital infrastructure and FAIR services for the management of scientific data. NFFA-DI’s objective is to provide a comprehensive ecosystem that supports researchers throughout the entire value chain: materials design, synthesis and controlled growth, micro- and nanofabrication, advanced characterization, theoretical simulation and modelling, development of prototypes at intermediate TRLs, technology transfer to industry Access is via a Single Entry Point, which allows users to request services and equipment through a single procedure assessed by international peer review panels.
