Ph. D. in chemical sciences- University of Palermo: Characterization and redox properties of ceria-based mixed oxides for the abatement of exhaust gases in gasoline-powered vehicles

9 months at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich: structural and redox characterization of ceria-based catalysts
Research grant (1 month per year)– Tokyo University: nanostructured La1-aSraCo1-bFebO3-x cathodes and Ce0.8Sm0.2O2 electrolytes for single chamber SOFC applications
Three weeks at the INRS-Énergie, Matériaux et Télécommunications of Varennes (Quebec, Canada) on behalf of a Short Term Mobility program funded by CNR (STM2014) with the project ”Perovskite/Carbon bifunctional nanocomposites for Zn-air batteries” .

Teaching activity at ISMN-CNR Palermo during the formation project “Nanomateriali e nanotecnologie per lo sviluppo sostenibile e il patrimonio culturale” (2016) co-financed by Fondo Sociale Europeo. Another formation project was recently approved for 2018.
CNR expert scientific evaluator in the field of Advanced Materials for the national research projects financed by MISE, Fondo Crescita Sostenibile.
