Formazione ed esperienze professionali

Mario Prosa is a Senior Researcher at CNR–ISMN in Bologna. He obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Bologna in 2017, carrying out research at CNR–ISMN and FAU Erlangen (Germany). He has held key roles in national and European projects, including coordination and work-package leadership. His work has been recognized with the Young Investigator Award, the Primo Levi Award, and the Best Speaker Award for contributions to renewable energies and chemical sciences.

Attività di ricerca

Mario Prosa’s research focuses on the development of organic optoelectronic devices, including light-emitting and light-detecting transistors and diodes, and on implementing multifunctional features in both single devices and system-level integrated architectures. Key applications include optical biosensing for food analysis and neuromorphic computing. He has co-authored over 30 articles in international peer-reviewed journals.
