20th INETRNATIONAL CYCLODEXTRIN SYMPOSIUM (ICS20)
The next 13th June will start the 20th International Cyclodextrin Symposium organized by CNR-ISMN in cooperation with University of Messina.
The Symposium will give to the community working on Cyclodextrins (CDs) and especially to young scholars the opportunity to meet and to discuss about interdisciplinary research subject connected to CDs ranging from chemistry, physics and materials technology to the applications in food, environmental, pharmaceutical and life sciences, opening a window on last progresses on supramolecules, polymers, nanoconstructs and biomaterials based on CD. According to the emerging questions raised by the pandemic, last day of the conference , on 17th June, will be dedicated to a Minisymposium entitled “Cyclodextrins for fighting virus and pathogen agents" which will face on the potential use of CD-based materials in antibacterial and antiviral treatment.
