Main research interests
My research interests are focalised on the investigation of the properties of complex systems based on the application of Theoretical and Computational Chemistry methods. In particular, my main activity consists in the computational study of morphological and transport properties of polymeric and oligomeric materials used in electronic and optoelectronic devices, using Molecular Dynamics and Kinetic Monte Carlo methods on the atomistic and mesoscopic scale.
I graduated in "Photochemistry and Molecular Materials" at the University of Bologna in 2013, doing my master project within the Institute for Nanostructured Materials (ISMN) at the CNR in Bologna, with a thesis entitled "Simulation of morphological and transport properties of organic materials used in electronic and optoelectronic devices". Currently, I am a research fellow in the computational chemistry group of ISMN – CNR of Bologna, carrying on my research activities within the project "Development of OLET and LS-FET – (OLET) Technology".
